Thanks for stopping by. I created this page to tell you a little about my books and other work, and to lead you to my new bookstore featuring the best books on childhood developmental disability and mental illness. I am a Lecturer in Autism Studies at the University of Birmingham, working within the Autism Centre for Education and Research (ACER) and the Disability, Inclusion and Special Needs working group. I am also an Associate Member of the Centre for Medical History at the university. My research is focused on improving life outcomes for people with autistic spectrum disorders, media representations of autism, and on the history of autism. |
